The 21-year-old, who has been playing second base and the outfield, slashed .349/.481/.571 with two home runs, seven RBI, nine extra-base hits, and 12 stolen bases in 18 games with Binghamton.has his estimated time of arrival to the big leagues in 2027, but a Mets team that is in shambles might be desperate enough to delve into the farm system for help as the summer progresses — similar to what they did last season by calling up pitchers Nolan McLean, Jonah Tong, and Brandon Sproat.
The Mets have the worst offense in baseball after being held to just a single run across Sunday’s doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. Second baseman Marcus Semien, acquired from the Texas Rangers in the Brandon Nimmo trade, is batting .220 this season and is 1-for-his-last-12 at the dish.
