Deputies have arrested 29-year-old Zachary Lavel Jackson Jr. in connection with his mother's death. On Saturday, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office was asked to do a wellness check on Brown-Bradley, and they eventually discovered she had been killed in her home.
They haven’t released details on how she was killed, but one of the charges her son is facing is mayhem, which means disfiguring or dismembering another person.Brown-Bradley was a well-known and loved educator with the Natchez Adams School District. She worked for at least 30 years, touching the lives of students across the city.'I think what I'll always remember is how she made people feel, and her smile.
