A 14-year-old boy is in extremely critical condition after getting shot in the chest and hand in West Philadelphia. The shooting took place near Master and Allison streets on Sunday night, and the teen was found near a trail of blood on Master Street. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

The shooting just before 10 p.m. in the area of Master and Allison streets, police said. The teen has been taken to the hospital after getting shot in the chest and hand and is in extremely critical condition. The crime scene was active as of 11 p.m. and spanned several blocks. Officers who arrived at the scene found the teen, as well as a trail of of blood going down Master Street and continuing down Allison Street.
No arrests have been made and no motives have been determined, but the investigation is ongoing. Officers were going door to door in the area to look for any kind of useful evidence, particularly surveillance footage.
