Zeekr has revealed the updated 001, now built on a 900V platform for faster charging and improved efficiency.
Zeekr , the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely, has unveiled the updated 2024 Zeekr 001, which features an upgraded electrical architecture, enhanced performance, and a luxurious, tech-filled interior.
The refreshed Zeekr 001 lineup now adopts a 900V electrical architecture across all variants, marking a significant step up from the previous 800V platform while delivering faster charging, improved efficiency, and enhanced performance. The rear-wheel-drive version features a 370 kW motor paired with a 103 kWh CATL Qilin battery, offering an estimated 503 miles of CLTC range and the ability to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes. It sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 4.98 seconds. The all-wheel-drive variant adds a 310 kW front motor for a combined 912 hp output, with either a 95 kWh Golden Brick or 103 kWh Qilin battery, providing 441 to 473 miles of range. The 95 kWh version supports ultra-fast 12C charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just seven minutes. It delivers thrilling performance, with a 0–62 mph sprint in only 2.83 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph.Refined 001 interior with advanced displays and high-end materialsInside, the electric liftback now features a larger 16-inch 3.5K central display – up from the previous 15.05-inch 2.5K version – with a 30° rotation function for greater versatility. It’s joined by a 13.02-inch high-definition instrument cluster, an 8-inch rear passenger control screen, a massive 39.3-inch augmented reality head-up display, and an immersive 29-speaker audio system. Premium materials dominate the cabin, with extensive Nappa leather surfaces and a suede-covered center console. Externally, the design remains nearly identical, maintaining the sleek proportions of the previous model.Buyers can further personalize the updated Zeekr 001 with a wide range of color-matching customization options, covering the exterior, logo, rear spoiler, mirrors, front and rear bumpers, wheels, and brake calipers. The electric liftback measures 196 inches long, 78.7 inches wide, and 60.8 inches high, with a generous 118.3-inch wheelbase that enhances stability and cabin space.Upgrade delivers advanced Nvidia Thor-U chip and improved safety featuresThe updated Zeekr 001 also comes equipped with the advanced Zeekr G-Pilot H7 driver assistance system, which integrates 31 sensing components, including LiDAR, for enhanced safety and automation. At its core, the system runs on the Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip, delivering an impressive 700 TOPS of total computing power – up from the 508 TOPS of the previous generation, which relied on Mobileye EyeQ5H and Nvidia Drive Orin chips.
