The German automaker created a bespoke S-Class through its Manufaktur program for the German professional golfer and brand ambassador.

The International Monetary Fund has raised its growth forecast for the global economy, citing surprising resilience in major nations. In its latest World Economic Outlook, the institution projected a 3.2 percent growth rate for both 2024 and 2025. This adjustment reflects a more optimistic outlook than the previous estimates provided earlier in the year.

According to the report, the United States is leading the momentum among advanced economies, with growth projections adjusted upward. Meanwhile, the Eurozone is expected to see a more modest recovery as it continues to grapple with the aftermath of high energy costs and inflation. Emerging markets, particularly in Asia, remain the primary drivers of global expansion despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

However, the IMF warned that risks remain prominent, including the potential for stubborn inflation and the impact of prolonged high-interest rates. Central banks are encouraged to maintain a cautious approach to monetary policy to ensure that inflation continues to trend toward target levels. Policymakers are also being urged to rebuild fiscal buffers to better prepare for future economic shocks.

The report also highlighted that while the risk of a "hard landing" has significantly diminished, global productivity growth is still lower than historical averages. Addressing structural challenges such as an aging workforce and slow technological adoption will be crucial for maintaining long-term stability and improving standards of living across both developed and developing countries.
