The Defense Department's Warrior Games will be held in San Antonio for the first time in 2026 and will return to the Alamo City two years later. The annual Warrior Games , first held in 2010 in Colorado Springs , feature hundreds of service members and veterans who compete in adaptive sports such as wheelchair basketball, cycling, indoor rowing and sitting volleyball as part of their recovery journeys.
