Lynette Hooker has been missing since the evening of April 4. The U.S. Coast Guard has seized the boat used by as the investigation continues into Lynette Hooker going overboard and vanishing in the Bahamas, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Their boat, called the "Soulmate," has been docked in the BahamasIt is not clear when the boat was seized, but it was prior to Monday, according to sources. Brian Hooker told authorities that on the evening of April 4, after the couple departed Hope Town on their dinghy to head to their yacht, bad weather caused Lynette Hooker to fall off the dinghy and go overboard.
On April 14,that he was staying in the Bahamas with a "sole focus" of finding his wife.
"My only focus is to go back to the boat and then hire or beg people to help me go find some areas to search," he said. But hours after that interview, Brian Hooker left the Bahamas, with his attorney saying he wanted to be with his terminally ill mother.she doubted Brian Hooker's story.
