Court documents allege that the former Lakewood Forest HOA manager made transactions totaling $53,630.77 with Amazon, Cash App, DoorDash, Gexa Energy, and T-Mobile.
ByThe money homeowners paid to improve their neighborhood ended up in the pocket of a thief, according to court documents. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies said Sheisha Sparrow is now charged with the third-degree felony of theft.
Deputies said their investigation began on Sept. 28, when they responded to a theft report from the president of the Lakewood Forest Homeowners' Association. Court documents allege that Sparrow, the former Lakewood Forest HOA manager, started stealing during her employment from April 2024 through September 2025. Court records show that in September, the new general manager found a binder containing unopened bank statements and later learned that the company's credit card had been used for personal expenses without authorization.
Documents show that those include Amazon, Cash App, DoorDash, Gexa Energy, and T-Mobile transactions totaling $53,630.77. Investigators said they subpoenaed the other companies and found that the defendant was the account holder for all accounts with unauthorized transactions. The Precinct 4 constable's office said Sparrow was booked into the Harris County Jail, but is currently out on a $20,000 bond. The HOA told ABC13 they have no comment as it's an ongoing investigation. Sparrow also declined to comment to ABC13.
