ABC's hit police drama "Will Trent" concludes its season Tuesday night with what is expected to be an intense finale, as characters face escalating danger and personal challenges.
The season-ending episode follows the team as they race to locate a missing college student. What begins as a standard abduction case quickly develops into a far more dangerous conspiracy, raising the stakes for everyone involved. At the same time, Angie Polanski, portrayed by Erika Christensen, navigates a critical moment in her pregnancy while confronting the demands of the case.
"She's at that point in her pregnancy where she's ready to have this baby," Christensen said, "So that is where we find her at the outset of this episode. " The actress hinted at significant developments between Angie and Will Trent, noting, "Where Will and Angie start and where Will and Angie end the finale is actually quite different. " Christensen also addressed a misconception among viewers stemming from her character's storyline throughout the season.
"I understand anyone who thought that I was really pregnant, I'm not, I haven't been," she said. "She has such a strong purpose," the actress said, "To advocate for people in situations where they need someone to advocate. She wants to help people and she wants to stop bad guys.
""I think she proved to herself early on in her life that she's a survivor," Christensen said. "And it's that that we see also serving her in the finale.
