"Income-eligible homeowners and renters can apply and receive a grant of up to $1,000 in free money," said Christina Clark of PGW. Clark emphasized the importance of applying before the deadline.

"I think it's really important because, as we know, one in three Philadelphia households are eligible. We know that this winter there were higher feeding bills, and therefore it's important that people who are eligible for this money are able to get it and access it," she responded.
"Customers without utility service or those who have received a 10-day shop notice can apply for both Crisis Assistance and LIHEAP together, and Crisis Assistance is an additional federal grant up to $1,000," Clark said. Applicants must meet income requirements.
