The two-level space features an open kitchen, two bars, and a retractable roof The cuisine is New American, with dinner dishes like jerk barbecue beef short ribs, grilled whole branzino, herb-crusted grilled lamb chops, and a lobster dish with house-made pasta filled with roasted pureed carrots.
The brunch menu includes specialties like the best-selling seafood and grits, and all the brunch faves done up with flair to match the upscale vibe of the scene. Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia, and the family-run business is sharing its culture through each dish, all from Alfirtri's mother's recipes. They were also the first to bring popular street-food dessert ropang to Philadelphia, which is toasted bread layered with butter, Nutella and coconut spread, and garnished with cheese.
Alfitri came to Philadelphia 25 years ago with her family and opened D'Jakarta Cafe in 2018, drawing on prior experience working in her mother's restaurant in Jakarta. The restaurant is filled with pictures, murals, and items that remind them of home. The family says they look forward to sharing Indonesian culture and traditions with Philadelphia.supports small businesses all year long, all throughout the region.

The shop is one of the businesses under the non-profit umbrella,makes its first appearance in the area. The show highlights Mexican culture through music, costume and performance. It is the only Cirque show that travels with water, featuring performances in the rain.
A rotating stage provides different vantage points for the audience under the big top. The show has been performed around the world for nearly a decade. This is its first stop in the Philadelphia area. This is the fourth time the big top has been raised in Montgomery County for different Cirque shows, part of a rich arts and culture scene in Montgomery County.

"The Black Clown," adapted from Langston Hughes' poem of the same name, is full of music and meaning. "A 75-minute blaze through 300 years of American history," says Davóne Tines, Co-Creator and Singer in "The Black Clown. " "It's the Black perspective within America, but told with a lot of brashness, joy and also honesty about this country.
" Tines stars in the title role and collaborated with composer, Michael Schachter, and director, Zack Winokur, to bring Hughes' poem to life. Jazz, blues and gospel are woven into the opera.
"Even though the poem is timeless, it is of its time, and there are certain ways of talking about racial strife that are complicated, but it's important for us to look at the truth of that time in order to understand our past, as we imagine the future," says Tines. This production contains racial slurs and stylized representations of violence, particularly related to slavery, as well as haze, simulated smoking, and bright flashing lights.
