Police say a suspect has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, bringing an end to an hours-long standoff that forced neighbors to shelter inside their homes on Thursday morning. It all started around 5:30 a.
m. when police tried to take the suspect into custody at the home on Lake Avenue.NewsCopter 7 was over the scene at one point when there were dozens of police officers lining the street.While not confirmed by police, neighbors told Eyewitness News the arrest could have been related to a missing persons case out of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
