The afternoon will se things warm up with some dry hours before more storms in the evening, Butler said. Waves of storms in the evening could become severe, with the main threat being wind along with hail and flooding, Butler said.
The Storm Prediction Center has the entire Chicago area under a Level 2 risk for severe weather Tuesday.
