Police said officers responded to the shooting in the city's West Englewood neighborhood near West 66th Street and South Wolcott Avenue just before 10:45 p.m.Investigators believe someone took out a gun and fired into a group of people who were standing outside. A 16-year-old boy, shot in the neck and body, self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. A 40-year-old man also self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center. He was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound to the hip. The Chicago Fire Department transported another man, 28, to the same hospital in good condition. He was shot in the arm and foot.Area One detectives are investigating.
