On Friday, the TEA confirmed that 53-year-old Nicole Truelove is currently under investigation by the agency's educator investigations division. She was charged by law enforcement with tampering with evidence and making a false report.Teacher charged after falsely setting off panic alarm, leading to Splendora HS lockdown, MCSO says At around 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, deputies said that Truelove cut herself with a razor, then activated the school's panic alarm, while claiming she had been stabbed by a student.
