Investigators say the teen, identified as Jaden Brill, was riding his bike on the sidewalk along South York Road and entered a crosswalk when a black Toyota RAV4 struck him as it exited the parking lot of a senior living community on School Road.
Surveillance video captured the collision, showing Brill and his bicycle thrown into the intersection. Brill was able to get up and run to the sidewalk."She got out for a few seconds. It looked like she looked to see if her car was OK, and then she got back in her car and continued on her way," said Hatboro Police Detective Sgt. Conner Dilks. In an update on Friday, police said the driver was identified and is cooperating with the investigation. Investigators also said a preliminary investigation indicates Brill did not have the right of way at the time of the crash.Police said Brill suffered bumps and bruises but was not seriously injured.
