JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - OCTOBER 20: Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane during the Kaizer Chiefs press conference at PSL Headquarters on October 20, 2022 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Kaizer Chiefs currently occupy fifth place in the DStv Premiership standings where they are four points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have two games in hand, and were eliminated from the MTN8 on Sunday after losing to AmaZulu on the away goals rule. The Amakhosi have looked an improved side under Arthur Zwane during parts of the season so far but their progress has been hindered by the same inconsistency that had plagued his predecessors in recent campaigns.
"Obviously, we will do the proper profiling," Zwane said during his post-match press conference. “We have players who are doing well. We are not going to focus on the negatives, we will focus on the positives. "But as I am saying, this is a journey. When it comes to the league, it is a race, and we are running our own race until the last game of the season.
