Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has provided an update on the injuries of key players, Khama Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. SLInt MORE:
Billiat tore a groin muscle following his last game for Chiefs, in the Soweto derby win over Orlando Pirates before the FIFA World Cup break in October last year and returned to training in January but aggravated the injury.
"'Mshini is out this season, he's not gonna be available, Khama just started jogging last week, if not the week before, so he's far from returning to playing," Zwane told the media at the club's headquarters in Naturena. "Then we'll take it from there, we'll be fighting for his fitness and make sure that he's ready to play, we would not want to risk and hurt him again," he said.
'Mangethe' continued and lamented that injuries to key players disrupted their season and forced them to throw youngsters in at the deep end.
