A new Chinese poster for Zootopia 2 reveals Ke Huy Quan's character, Gary, a blue viper, alongside returning characters Judy Hopps, Nick Wild, Chief Bogo, Mr. Big, and Benjamin Clawhauser. The poster, released to mark the start of the Year of the Snake, hints at Gary's potential role in a new mission for the heroes.
is the much-anticipated sequel to 2016’s animated buddy cop comedy Zootopia and is set to further expand the fictional universe introduced in the first movie. One of the new characters the sequel will feature is a snake named. The character appears in a new Chinese poster alongside Ginnifer Goodwin’s Judy Hopps, Jason Bateman’s Nick Wild, and more.marked the beginning of 2025 and the upcoming Year of the Snake by releasing a new Zootopia poster in China.
Goodwin revealed at the time that snakes in the Zootopia universe had “a shady past.” She added that Gary could send the heroes “on a whole new mission.” She also referred to Quan’s character as “creepy, slithery, highly venomous” , the sheep who serves as the assistant mayor, is the culprit behind the disappearances and institutionalization of several predators.
Aside from the ones mentioned above, the voice cast of Zootopia 2 features Fortune Feimster as Nibbles and Shakira as Gazelle. The movie releases in US theaters on November 25, 2025.
