Summer may be drawing to a close, but that won’t stop our pursuit of the perfect warm-weather dress. Lucky for us, Zoë Kravitz came through with two hot contenders at the eleventh hour. While we’re all thinking ahead to impending fall weather, Kravitz’s sweet, summery look snapped us right back into the present.
The actor, along with her Caught Stealing co-star Austin Butler and director Darren Aronofsky, kicked off their press tour with a London photocall. Kravitz, styled by Danielle Goldberg, opted for a tea-length Saint Laurent dress made of delicate cream colored broderie anglaise and muslin. Contrasting the dainty fabrication and ruffled sleeves, the semi-sheer lace and the plunging neckline added a hint of sex appeal. As for her accessories, Kravitz kept it cool and classic in a pair of black ballet flats, black oval sunglasses, and button-back drop earrings from Jessica McCormack. For the premiere later in the evening, Kravitz changed from her prim off-white dress into a slinky black Saint Laurent gown. The halter-neck dress was outfitted with a low back, thigh-high slit, and a floppy white bow affixed to the aide of the gathered bodice. She finished off the look with a pair of strappy black mules. Kravitz kicked off promotion for Caught Stealing in New York last week, appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where she opted for a sexed-up Saint Laurent suiting in a cropped black waistcoat, low-slung pinstripe trousers, black pointy-toe slingbacks, a navy blue bandana, and slick silver sunnies—not to mention the massive diamond choker from McCormack. Whether she’s in a feminine summer dress or an androgynous take on suiting, Zoë Kravitz reminds us that she can make anything look impossibly cool.
