A large wildfire has broken out in Yakima County, Washington.

Fire officials say the Beam Road fire has scorched over 8, 000 acres and Level 2 “Get Set” evacuation orders are in place for some residents.

“For residents of Zillah, WA, in the Rattlesnake Ridge area and surrounding areas. Get your family and pets ready to go. Move emergency supplies and belongings to your vehicle,” Yakima Valley Emergency Management said on theirThe fire was first reported around 12:30 p.m. off Beam and East Houghton Roads.

“The City of Zillah is actively partnering with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Yakima County Fire District #5, and Yakima Valley Emergency Management to coordinate and combat the wildland fire east of Zillah. Multiple crews and aircraft are on the scene working tirelessly to contain the blaze,” the City of Zillah said on Facebook. “To support these efforts, we have designated the Civic Center as the Emergency Operations Center.
