The KwaZulu-Natal provincial government, under the leadership of Premier Sihle Zikalala, will meet several high-profile international delegates on Thursday to discuss trade and investment opportunities.
Zuma was found guilty of contempt by the Constitutional Court and sentenced to a 15-month sentence at the Estcourt prison in KZN, after which a mass protest across KZN and parts of Gauteng ensued, organised by his supporters.
Damage to property in the province was estimated to be around R126 billion , according to an earlier African News Agency report, while more than 40,000 businesses were affected.
