PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Lee Zii Jia kept the Malaysian flag flying high in the All-England when he stormed into the men's singles quarter-finals on Thursday (March 12).
The world No. 13 Zii Jia took only 36 minutes to blow away Lu Guangzhu of China 21-10, 21-16 at Arena Birmingham.
Just a day ago, the national No. 1 Zii Jia showed his brilliance en route to beating 2018 Asian Games champion and world No. 6 Jonatan Christie of Indonesia for the first time in five meetings in the opening round.
