KOZ Entertainment will be responding strongly to malicious rumors regarding Zico. On June 24, KOZ Entertainment released the following statement via Weverse: Hello, this is KOZ Entertainment.
We confirmed that numerous malicious posts and comments defaming, insulting, and circulating false information about our artist Zico have been indiscriminately posted on various online communities and social media platforms.
In particular, the malicious rumors and false information that were clearly proven to have no relation to our artist have reached a level of severity that cannot be overlooked, so we determined that strong legal action against them was urgent. Accordingly, we collected evidence of posts and comments from various online communities and social media and submitted a complaint to the investigative authorities. We plan to continue collecting evidence of malicious posts on a regular basis and file complaints periodically. Additionally, we want to make it clear that the recent rumors related to the artist are also false, and we will respond firmly to them as well.
We will take strict measures against the authors of malicious posts based on the evidence collected through reports from fans and our own monitoring to protect the artist’s rights and interests. Even if it takes time, we will hold them accountable until the end. There will be no leniency or settlements under any circumstances.
