Her speech went on to address the ramifications of constantly working — something that many people can probably identify with, especially in a society that often. “I feel like sometimes I go and I go, and I think a lot of us can relate to this, but you go so hard and you forget to stop and take in moments like this,” the actor said. “Sometimes I work so much, it can take over my life and I forget to be present in these kinds of moments where you can look around the room and just take it in.
Zendaya then pledged she will try to live in the moment more, and urged others to do the same. “So that's what I'm going to do, I'm going to take a second to look around and think, 'Holy sh*t, this is happening,’” she promised, adding: “Please, everyone, enjoy it. Look around and have a beautiful night, and take in the moment.”
