Occupying what Zeelander calls a “unique position in its segment,” the 79-footer combines the speed and sleek design of a fast-cruising runabout with the finish and comfort of a superyacht.
Every Zeelander 8 is fully bespoke, with the latest unit reflecting the scope of customization. Crafted from GRP composite, the high-performance hull and sculpted superstructure are finished in a Pearlescent White hue and elegantly contrasted by glitzy gold accents. That distinctive colorway extends to the interior, where a subtle palette, teak flooring, and rich leathers are juxtaposed with gold fixtures and fittings.has a custom layout geared toward family cruising. The helm station, for example, has been outfitted with generous seating so that guests can accompany the owner while they’re at the wheel. A full-beam owner’s suite and two double cabins can sleep six guests, while the crew accommodation can sleep an additional three guests since there will likely be no crew onboard. There are plenty of ways to entertain those friends, too. The galley was entirely reimagined around a central island that doubles as a breakfast bar and social hub, while a dedicated bar with L-shaped seating creates ample space for cocktail parties. Outside, there are multiple lounges and dining areas, plus large storage spaces for water toys, dive tanks, kitesurfing gear, and a Williams 435 jet tender. You’ll also find a sizable swim platform that makes getting into the water a breeze. As for grunt, the Zeelander 8 can be equipped with up to four Volvo Penta IPS-1350 engines that afford a top speed of 40 knots, a cruising speed of 32 knots, and a range of 2,700 nautical miles at 7 knots. The propulsion system also enables precise joystick docking, making it simple for owner-operators to manoeuver the yacht. To top it off, Zeelander has installed several patent-pending technologies that significantly reduce vibration and sound transmission throughout the hull.
