Out Tuesday , the remix package features a quartet of reinterpretations of the sultry pop-R&B hit.
The young Swedish producer Osrin offers a pleasantly bopping and even-keeled version, while Dutch veteran Marc Benjamin takes the radio-friendly original into festival mainstage territory with bursts of buzzing electro-house synths. Rhythm and blues becomes rhythm and bass -- a lot of bass -- in Grant’s hands, and Soulji takes “Good Thing” dark by pitching down Kehlani’s vocals to match his murky, brooding production.
