Zamboanga police are investigating the alleged foiled abduction of a grade 12 female student in Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City on Tuesday night.
A Police Regional Office-9 report said the 18-year old student was walking along Palmeras Drive in Barangay Guiwan at around 6 p.m. when two unidentified men grabbed and blindfolded her and carried to a tricycle.
The tricycle stopped along the Tumaga-Putik road where the suspects were reportedly waiting for a white van to pick them up. The female victim, however, saw a chance to escape and ran towards nearby residences where she tried to ask for help.Police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
