The deputy campaign manager for the Patriotic Front has denied damning allegations by the NDC national youth chairperson.
Zambia’s ruling Patriotic Front has denied accusations by opposition party the National Democratic Congress of plans to sabotage upcoming local government and parliamentary elections in several districts of the Copperbelt province on Thursday.
The PF has been accused of printing T-shirts with NDC logos on them apparently in an attempt to deceive the Electoral Commission of that country in order to get the party disqualified from the election, the Lusaka Times reported. He further stated that contrary to other NDC claims of buying voters support, the PF was short of funds and there was no money to woo voters but only sufficient funds to support development.
