Since suffering back-to-back defeats to ENPPI and El Gaish in May, Zamalek have gone on a 12-game unbeaten run in the Egyptian Premier League, winning all but one match against fierce rivals Al Ahly.
This run was enough to see head coach Ferreira lift his second EPL title with the team from the Egyptian capital, having also been crowned a league winner back during the 2014/15 campaign. This is the first time Zamalek have won back-to-back titles since they won consecutive championships in the 2002/03 and 2003/04 campaigns, making it their 14th league title in the club's history.
Their trophy will be given to them on Tuesday night after their match against Ittihad of Alexandria, according to
