Zach Wilson is getting advice he’s never received before.
The Dolphins quarterback told reporters he has been told by his new coaches that he has been late on some of his throws.
While some could think that this is a dig at the Dolphins’ receiving core, it is quite the opposite. For Wilson, these tips might have been helpful when the quarterback was in the Big Apple, as he did not have much success during his stint with Gang Green. When the Jets drafted Wilson in 2021, he was seen as a savior for a team that has had a perpetual quarterback problem. In his three seasons in New York, Wilson had a record of 12-21 and threw 23 touchdowns with 25 interceptions. The former second overall pick was then traded away to Denver for just a sixth-round pick before the 2024 season.
