The country musician was booked on an obstruction of investigation charge in September 2023 after getting “lippy” with cops.
However, due to his good behavior, prosecutors decided to drop his case altogether — as long as he can stay out of trouble with the law until Friday.A spokesperson for the Craig Country, Okla., District Attorney’s Office, told TMZ that prosecutors agreed in May to defer charging the country singer for six months.
“I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize.”He added, “Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
