The set of Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman and Joey King’s new rom-com, “A Family Affair,” seemed to be filled with jokes and laughter. In honor of the film premiering on Netflix June 28, Efron shared a behind-the-scenes video that showed how much fun the trio had making the movie. He uploaded the video to Instagram that revealed how King nailed the hilarious scene in the movie when she walks in on Kidman’s character, her mom, and Efron’s character, her boss, sharing an intimate moment.
They gushed about their friendship in a recent interview with Canadian outlet Etalk, with King revealing that she has admired Efron for a long time. In a snippet from their sit-down uploaded to TikTok, the Etalk reporter brings up a video from years ago of King and Sabrina Carpenter re-enacting a song from “High School Musical,” the film that made Efron a household name. King says she doesn’t remember the clip while Efron says he’s eager to see it.
