Yungblud has fulfilled his vow to paint rainbow colours on the streets of Poland in retaliation to the country’s treatment of gay people and its laws.
‘I want you to know that… I think about you all and I am with you every single day. Yungblud is about all of us.
Captioning the video, he added: ‘Never apologise. never compromise. never hide who you are. love as much as you can every fookin day!!! to love another is NEVER WRONG.’Poland holds conservative views around issues pertaining to LGBT rights as a majority of the population is affiliated to the Catholic Church.
Dozens of small towns in Poland have declared themselves free of ‘LGBT ideology’, forging a divide between the religious right and the more liberal-minded Poles. Many gay people living in these areas have been forced out.Meanwhile, Yungblood has previously, saying that he hopes his decision to come out publicly will encourage others struggling with their sexuality to come out.
‘I was just like with it all; “I’m pan, you know what I’m saying?”,’ the star told Hunger magazine. ‘It doesn’t matter what genitalia you’ve got or what you identify as, if I love you, I love you and that’s it, and that’s I’ve struggled with my whole life, because I didn’t know what I was. I couldn’t quite put a label on it.
