After suffering a fractured neck during last season's second game, Donald De La Haye announced Tuesday that he is coming back to San Antonio for 2025.

Kicker Donald De La Haye , better known as “Deestroying” to more than 6 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, is returning to the UFL ’s San Antonio Brahmas for the 2025 season, the league announced Tuesday. De La Haye earned the kicking job for the Brahmas last year and started the first two games of the season before suffering a fractured neck as he went for a head-first tackle following a kickoff. “I refuse to go out like that after my injury,” De La Haye said.

Speaking two weeks ago on the “Kicking It with Dee” podcast that he and Brahmas punter Brad Wing began producing this offseason, De La Haye said San Antonio general manager Marc Lillibridge had reached out to him about a possible return. De La Haye said he was “leaning toward” playing for the Brahmas but wanted “a couple things to be a little different,” pointing to his desire to wear jersey No. 11 and find a practice schedule that allowed time for content creation.
