In Week 8 of the NFL season, buffering issues plagued users watching the 1 p.m. ET games.
YouTube agreed with the NFL on a multibillion dollar agreement for the league's Sunday Ticket package in December 2022. Fans who followed the NFL’s out-of-market game-day package from DirecTV to YouTube were angry Sunday when YouTube TV experienced issues streaming the nine games that kicked off at 1 p.m.If you're experiencing buffering issues on YouTube our team is aware and working on a fix. YouTube TV or NFL Sunday Ticket may also be impacted.
The New York Post’s Andrew Marchand pointed out that Amazon has largely avoided problems streaming “Thursday Night Football.” Two different Roku TVs having repeated buffering issues, both on single-game and multigame streams. Tested the internet speed and it's at 500/50, so not an issue with my connection.
