If Mahathir has the numbers, Muhyiddin would fail the confidence motion and he should resign or advise the Agong to dissolve parliament .
But perhaps the palace is unhappy with Mahathir for prolonging the issue in the first place. Actually, had he not resigned as PM on Monday the Sheraton Move executed by former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali would have ended right there.
