The pop culture super event will take place inside the San Diego Convention from July 20 to July 23, with a preview night on July 19. Just walking around the downtown area will provide an eyeful of colorful costumes and other interesting things to see, but there will also be events and interactive pop-up experiences for fans without Comic-Con badges to check out.
The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego will host a showcase of Mexican pop culture to coincide with Comic-Con for the second time. The four-day event will feature exhibits, live music, performances, presentations and food. This year’s theme is “Rius,” the pen name of influential cartoonist Eduardo Humberto del Río García. July 20-23, Seaport Village, 849 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego.
These massive installations are ideal for fans of mystery and horror. There will be new releases such as the series “Shōgun” which takes place in Edo period Japan with samurai battles and “A Murder At The End of the World” with a murder mystery in a billionaire’s private plane.
