From a daylong festival in downtown Anchorage to a unique tradition in Glacier View, here's a rundown of July Fourth events in the Anchorage area and Mat-Su.
Anchorage’s main event is a daylong celebration at the Delaney Park Strip downtown, complete with games, carnival rides, food trucks and a beer garden. Live music will include the Ken Peltier Band and Hope Cassity. The parade begins at 11 a.m. and the festival is free to the public.Keep the fun going in Anchorage with an Alaska Baseball League doubleheader game between the city’s cross-town rivals. Starting at 7 p.m.
