Paige is back, and she may have developed a drinking habit according to a new Young Sheldon season 6 episode 13 trailer. Sheldon Cooper's fellow childhood protégé returns to The Big Bang Theory prequel following a more serious last appearance where she attempted to run away from home after feeling stressed out. While Paige was ultimately reunited with her family, it doesn't seem like there have been any improvements in her situation as she seems to be more rebellious than ever.

McKenna Grace and Iain Armitage shared a behind-the-scenes image of them during the filming break. But the trailer is the first official look at the returning character.What To Expect From Paige’s Next Young Sheldon Appearance When Paige was introduced, she was better adjusted than Sheldon. She had friends and fully-developed social skills.
There was hope that after Paige seemingly reached rock bottom, she would finally be able to get the proper help and guidance that she needs. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case as proven by the Young Sheldon season 6 episode 13 trailer. It appears as if she is back in her rebellious streak, even starting to drink at college parties despite her being significantly younger than everyone else.
Since a more grown-up Sheldon did the right thing the last time Paige attempted to do something dangerous, it's possible that he once again seeks the help of Missy and Mary to deal with the situation. Perhaps, Sheldon could also recruit Paige to help with her grant database project just to give her a purpose that she can actually care about.
