A two-year-old girl in Scotland has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, causing immense distress for her family. The girl had been feeling unwell for a few weeks before her mother noticed a spreading rash and rushed her to the hospital. She now undergoes intense chemotherapy twice a week, along with other treatments.

A young Scots family has been put through “nothing short of hell” after their two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Two-year-old Isla Joy Gray had been feeling unwell for a few weeks with a viral infection. However, when mum Abbie, 22, noticed a rash spreading across her daughter’s body, she suspected something much worse was happening.

Rushing her to A&E at Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital on February 5, Abbie and partner Jordan, 23, were absolutely devastated to learn that Isla Joy had a type of blood cancer called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Speaking to Glasgow Live, grandmother Bobbie and aunt Justine explained: "Isla Joy was taken into hospital on Sunday, February 4 and diagnosed six hours later at 3.45am on Monday. Then on Wednesday she started her first round of chemo. They have been extremely proactive...we can't fault them. She has now had her sixth bone marrow and lumbar puncture; she undergoes five hours of intense chemotherapy at the hospital two times a week, as well as receiving other countless amounts of treatment and medicatio
