Shaun Atwal went to hospital after a nasty fall only to discover not only did he have a broken arm but also cancer.
A young Scots man's life was turned upside down when a trip to hospital for a broken arm revealed he had rare bone cancer.
But he never could imagine that two months later further tests confirmed that he had Osteosarcoma - a rare form of bone cancer which typically affects children, adolescents, and young adults. "No one in our family has had cancer before and our lives changed. He was in hospital, not able to see his friends or go out, his social life took a massive hit."
This time it had spread to his spine and left him with numbness around one of his legs. He had another surgery and radiotherapy treatment and is now undergoing chemotherapy.Luvleen added: "It's only now that he has relapsed that it is starting to affect him a bit more. I don't have the words, it's just devastating.
