Police are asking for the public's help as they search for the unknown suspect
A 24 year-old man has been rushed to hopsital after sustaining serious injuries during an assault in the Kirkton Avenue area.
The unknown suspect is described as a white man, around 28 years-old, with a slim build and short dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black top and bottoms. A spokesperson fort Police Scotland said: "Police in Glasgow are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 24-year-old man in the Kirkton Avenue area.
