Emergency services rushed to Bispham Road in Southport at around 6.50am yesterday and the biker was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the vehicle was involved in a collision with a black Mercedes car, where the road meets Wennington Road, and last night neighbours told LancsLive how the junction was an accident waiting to happen.
Imperial Thaiboxing Academy, where James was a member, paid tribute to him on its Facebook page, saying: "Really sad news for the gym and myself today. One of our members James passed away this morning involved in a accident on his motorbike. Rich Seddon said: "Just heard the sad news about my friend James Huyton worked with him at Dobbies many years ago. It was a pleasure knowing you rip mate."
