This is no garden variety case of retail theft.

Police told 6ABC the couple got away with a total of $12,000 worth of items during two stealing sprees at the same Giant. The first took place on February 22 when they hauled out $4,500 worth of items. The second round was on March 7, when the couple walked out with around $7,500 in merchandise.

Each time, they were inside the store for about 45 minutes, before simply walking out with carts brimming with costly merchandise, police say.Authorities add that the same couple may have stolen from other Giants in the area, including the Flourtown Giant on March 4, getting away with similar items worth around $5,000.

The pair were last seen leaving the scene in a silver Toyota RAV4 with no license plate. The woman was wearing leopard-spotted pajama bottoms, police note. Upper Moreland Township police need the public's help to identify two brazen bandits caught on camera twice stealing items from a GIANT supermarket.
