Season 4, however, opens some time later, when Joe has moved to London and adopted a new identity: that of Jonathan Moore, a bearded, tweed-jacketed professor. He’s still reeling from the loss of Marienne, but begins to enjoy teaching and settles into his new group of friends—that is, until the emergence of the “eat-the-rich killer,” a murderer who begins bumping off those in his illustrious circle and then turns their gaze on him.
“All he wants is to prove he’s not a terrible man, by living quietly… nursing his broken heart and thoroughly minding his own business,”of the upcoming season. “[But] this mysterious person is awfully curious about Professor Moore, threatening Joe and everyone he cares about. Sometimes it takes a killer to catch a killer. Joe did say he wanted to redeem himself... but we’ll leave it to you to decide if redemption is possible for a man like Joe Goldberg.
Also lending support will be Ben Wiggins as Roald, an old-money, flat cap-wearing member of their elite circle; Ozioma Whenu as Blessing, a Nigerian princess and canny investor; Eve Austin as the privileged, pouty Gemma; and Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia, one of Joe’s literature students, who unexpectedly comes to his aid.
