There is a social club in Provo aptly called “The Social” that provides a bar-like atmosphere and sells mocktails. You can play pool there. You can dance some nights, too.
There are majestic views everywhere. A drive up Provo Canyon, 10 minutes from the stadium, puts you near Sundance Resort, owned by Robert Redford. You can fly fish the Provo River and take in the awe-inspiring surroundings. There is a tasty fast food burger joint just a quick walk west from the stadium. Get an Apollo Burger. You’ll be pleased. Culturally, Utah has recently owned the fast-food dessert and drink game. You can gorge yourself on a massive Crumbl cookie or indulge at specialty soda shops that are the opposite of healthy but are a hit here. The “Dirty Diet Cokes” have no whiskey or bourbon, just splashes of random flavorings.
They won’t be hard to miss. You’ll see the drive-thru line sprawled out into the streets and blocking traffic.Remember the ice cream? There’s so much ice cream. So much so that the famed BYU Creamery on campus has created Sitake Row, in honor of BYU football coach Kalani Sitake’s favorite flavors. When talking about the game day experience, Sitake brought up the ice cream handed out and half-joked that he would love to also be eating ice cream even on the sidelines.
