Lola returns the love , saying, “We’re the best teammates he’s ever had. You know, don’t love the sidekick label but we’ll let it go because it’s LeBron.”with director Malcolm D. Lee saying they had big plans for a revamp of the character. "Lola was not politically correct.
The 2021 version of Lola will be more of a leader than her 1996 predecessor. "We reworked a lot of things...and gave her a real voice," Lee shared. "For us, it was, let's ground her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her as full a character as the others." We don't have long to wait to see Zendaya in action, because
