Looks like Elon Musk is really serious about X being an “Everything app”. Recently, the app launched an “Early version of video and audio calling” feature on X. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, Elon teased the release of this feature since last August. The latest functionality comes amid a series of new features and changes to the platform's core experience under Musk, who acquired the social media company nearly a year ago. Besides that, this feature also signalled Elon’s intent on turning X into a Super App. Soon, X might offer a wide range of services. That includes messaging, social networking and peer-to-peer payments.
Interestingly, the new audio and video call feature will not require your phone number. This feature will be available for Apple iOS, Google’s Android and even PC users.
