The Supreme Court of Appeal has slammed a Gauteng High Court judge for injudicious overreach after making findings in Road Accident Fund matters that were not open to the court to make.

The appeal was brought against a judgment penned by Judge Denise Fisher in relation to two RAF matters that were before her for trial in October 2020. In both matters, two people had launched action against the RAF for compensation following motor vehicle accidents.
